- We’re retired and our "Life on Wheels" started June 6th 2007. We left Louisiana as full time Rv’ers for this great adventure. In 2007 we’ve explored the north central US, Ontario, the Northeast, Eastern Coast and the northern gulf of Mexico. In early 2008, the Mexican border states, the "Four Corners" and Utah. We went through Idaho, OR and WA on our way north. Our adventures continued through Jasper and Banff in BC. We continued into the Yukon Territory and across the Artic Circle. We were in Alaska for the whole summer of 2008! We took the west coast route through WA, OR and CA before we were back in Louisiana for December and January. 2009 plans include Florida, mid-states, MN and the Boundry Waters and finally the mid-West while we head south. We have signed up as volunteers to build an Earthship near Taos, NM. After that we hope to spend the winter in the southwest - including visits to Quartzite and Slab City.
