About Us!

My photo
Kim and Sam
We’re retired and our "Life on Wheels" started June 6th 2007. We left Louisiana as full time Rv’ers for this great adventure. In 2007 we’ve explored the north US, Ontario, the Northeast, East Coast and the west Gulf of Mexico. In 2008, the Mexican border states, the "Four Corners" and Utah. We went through Idaho, OR and WA on our way north. Our adventures continued through Jasper and Banff in BC. We continued into the Yukon Territory and across the Artic Circle. We were in Alaska for the whole summer of 2008! We took the west coast route through WA, OR and CA before we were back in Louisiana for December and January. 2009 plans included Florida, mid-states, MN and the BWCA and finally the mid-West while we head south. We volunteered with architect Mike Reynolds learning to build Earthships near Taos, NM. After searching through most of New Mexico for a wintering nesting ground, we found that special place just outside of Silver City, NM.(see posts in December, 2009) We plan on living here and exploring the area 6 months of the year and traveling throughout the US the other 6 months. NOTE: Site BEST VIEWED on 17" Screen w/min 1400 x 900 resolution.
